If you had to take a wild guess, when do you think the very first selfie was taken? 2005? 2010? Nope! The very first selfie ever taken in history was in 1839 by a guy named Robert Cornelius and here's a picture of it!
Since then, there have been over 73 million selfies posted just on Instagram alone. A professor at the University of New York City analyzed thousands of selfies from all over the world and discovered that there's actually a science behind who smiles the most, who poses more, and who takes more selfies.
